From there, you’ll continue walking for 10 minutes down an ancient Inca Street to the Temple of the Sun or Qoricancha. This spiritual center was the most important place for the Incas, and you’ll have the opportunity to compare its spectacular Inca architecture with colonial buildings. After experiencing the Temple of the Sun, you’ll take a 20-minute bus ride outside the city to explore the incredible Inca buildings.
With its enigmatic architecture, Sacsayhuaman will be your first stop outside the city. Your expert guide will share their knowledge with you for an hour. From there, you’ll take a short, five-minute bus ride to Q’enqo Inca construction, where you’ll see its amazing religious altar. Another 10-minute drive will take you to Puca Pucara, a small Inca military construction.
