Your adventure begins with early morning hotel pickup (05:10 – 05:40 AM) from your hotel in Cusco. You will travel by comfortable transportation through the Andes toward the beautiful Sacred Valley, arriving at the train station in Ollantaytambo after approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. From there, board the spectacular Vistadome Observatory Train, featuring panoramic windows, an open-air observation car, live Andean music, cultural dance performances, and complimentary snacks as you enjoy breathtaking views along the Urubamba River.
Around 09:30 – 10:00 AM, you will arrive in Aguas Calientes and take a 25-minute scenic bus ride up to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Once inside the citadel, enjoy a 2.5-hour guided tour exploring the history, architecture, temples, and terraces of this extraordinary Inca sanctuary while capturing iconic photos of one of the world’s most famous archaeological sites. After the tour, return to Aguas Calientes for free time to have lunch or explore the town before boarding the Expedition Train for your return journey through the Sacred Valley. Upon arrival back in Ollantaytambo, our driver will transfer you to your hotel in Cusco. Estimated arrival in Cusco: 7:00 – 8:00 PM.
There are three circuits to explore Machu Picchu:

Circuit 2 (Most Recommended): Visits key areas such as the Sacred Plaza, Temple of the Three Windows, and Sacred Rock, but often sells out 4–5 months in advance.
