We invite you to embark on the definitive Cusco Machu Picchu Tour, a journey we have meticulously designed to immerse you in a world of ancient stones and living culture. We crafted this adventure specifically for the explorer who dreams of walking through history. To begin, imagine standing where Inca kings once ruled; you will undoubtedly feel the energy of Cusco’s vibrant streets. From there, our path leads into the Sacred Valley, a land of breathtaking landscapes and enduring traditions.

Moreover, this adventure connects you to the very soul of the Andes. For this reason, we handle every detail with meticulous care. Our expert guides, for instance, are passionate storytellers ready to bring the past to life. In fact, they will share secrets that only locals know. This journey is crafted for discovery and comfort, which ultimately culminates in the awe-inspiring moment you witness Machu Picchu for the first time. While some may seek a greater trekking challenge with our Classic Inca Trail 4 Day , this tour, in contrast, offers a seamless blend of cultural depth and iconic sights.
Ultimately, our goal is to guide you through an experience that will stay with you forever. Your adventure into the legacy of the Incas begins here.
DAY 1
A Deep Dive into Historic Cusco
Your adventure begins the moment we meet you. This afternoon is dedicated to connecting you with the city’s layered history and vibrant energy.
Heart of the City: Plaza de Armas & Q’oricancha
First, we dive straight into the beautiful main square to explore the magnificent cathedral. Afterward, our journey continues along an ancient Inca street to Q’oricancha. Here, you’ll see the stunning contrast where the Spanish built upon the foundations of the most sacred Inca temple.
The Colossal Fortress: Sacsayhuaman & Beyond
Next, a short bus ride takes us above the city to the colossal fortress of Sacsayhuaman. The sheer scale of its stone walls is a testament to Inca engineering. To conclude the day, we also visit the nearby mystical sites of Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay. As evening falls, we will return you to your hotel.
DAY 2
The Enchanting Sacred Valley
Today, the journey expands into the breathtaking Sacred Valley. We travel north from Cusco, where every turn reveals a more stunning landscape.
Andean Traditions: Alpaca Farm and Pisac
To begin, our first stop offers a charming encounter with South America’s iconic camelids and ancient weaving traditions. From a stunning viewpoint, we then take in the panoramic beauty of the valley. Subsequently, we explore the magnificent Inca ruins of Pisac before you browse the famous handicraft market below.
Riverside Journey to Ollantaytambo
Following a delicious Andean lunch, our trip continues to the incredible fortress of Ollantaytambo. This living Inca town is an architectural marvel. To conclude our day, we board a scenic train that winds through the canyon to Aguas Calientes. This is the town at the foot of Machu Picchu.
DAY 3
The Majestic Citadel of Machu Picchu
This is the day it all leads to. We rise before the sun, ensuring you arrive to witness the first golden light spill over the ancient citadel.
Sunrise and First Impressions
To start, we take one of the first buses up the mountain, a truly magical experience in the quiet morning air. Without a doubt, witnessing the sunrise from a viewpoint like the Sun Gate is a moment that will stay with you forever.
Guided Exploration and Free Time
Your guide will then lead you on a comprehensive 3 hour tour through the city’s most important sectors. After the tour, you will have free time to explore the vast site on your own. For the more adventurous, this is also your chance to undertake an optional, pre booked climb.
In the afternoon, we descend to board our train. The scenic journey back to Cusco is a perfect time to reflect on your incredible Machu Picchu travel package, arriving in the evening.
