DAY 1
A Journey to Humantay Lake Tour
Morning Departure and Scenic Drive:
Our adventure begins at 4:30 AM. We will collect you from your Cusco hotel and begin a scenic 3-hour drive in our comfortable vans to Soraypampa, the trailhead. Here, our expert trekking chefs will have a delicious, energizing breakfast ready for you.
The Hike to Humantay Lake
Following breakfast, we embark on our 2-hour hike to Humantay Lake. The trail is a rewarding challenge, leading us to an elevation of 4,200 meters (13,779 feet). Once at the lake, you will have ample time to explore the stunning turquoise lagoon and its surroundings.
Return Trip and Final Meal
After our time at the lake, we hike back down for 1 hour to our lunch spot in Soraypampa. Our chefs will prepare a variety of Peruvian dishes in a buffet-style format. Finally, we transport you back to your Cusco hotel in our private van, arriving around 6:00 PM.
