DAY 1

Machu Picchu – Huayna Picchu – Cusco

Morning Departure & Train Journey

We will pick you up at 3:20 AM from your hotel address. We then take a scenic 1-hour 45-minute transfer to Ollantaytambo. There, we will board the 5:30 AM train. You can relax and marvel at the breathtaking landscapes of the Sacred Valley . We travel towards Aguas Calientes, arriving at approximately 7:20 AM.

Exploring the Citadel & Conquering Huayna Picchu

Upon arrival, you will meet your private guide. We take a 25-minute shuttle bus ride to the entrance of Machu Picchu. From 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM, you will immerse yourself in the beauty of Machu Picchu. Your guide will share captivating stories of its history and architecture. At 10:30 AM, we begin the exhilarating ascent of Huayna Picchu. The challenging trail rewards you with panoramic views of the citadel. By 12:00 PM, you will stand atop this breathtaking vantage point.

Return Journey to Cusco

We descend and return to Aguas Calientes by 1:30 PM. You will enjoy a well deserved lunch at a local restaurant. We then retrace our steps back to Ollantaytambo. A comfortable transfer will take you back to Cusco . We will arrive at your hotel by 6:30 PM or 8:00 PM. This one day challenge is perfect for those who crave adventure, scenery, and culture.
